Zuhl Museum

A unique museum where the bulk of the collection is composed of petrified wood. Sizes of petrified wood range from twigs and stems, to logs that are over a meter in diameter. Polishing the wood slices reveals the tree's character — making the growth rings and cell structure more noticeable.

Zuhl Museum also showcases a large number of fossils in its History of Life Gallery. The gallery is organized in chronological order, beginning with the Precambrian period and ending with the present day.

Our planet's remarkable history is shown in the museum through the geological wonders and fossils of long-gone creatures. Historians, geologists, and families alike will enjoy this great attraction.
